We believe that specific customization helps further to reflect the company culture within the training program. As such L2S focuses the development part in three stages as follows
Stage 1: Designing the Training Event
During this stage L2S will be assessing the learning needs from the determined objectives, and simultaneously considering practicality. In addition, the Program Manager will arrange for a meeting with the Training Department or Stakeholders, to better understand their specific needs and the behavior of their teams participating in the program.
Stage 2: During the training
An interactive facilitation, training games, training videos, role-plays, group discussions, and group brainstorming activities are designed in this stage.
Throughout the program delegate’s will be fully engaged in the learning experience and will be able to monitor their personal development through the on-going skills assessment games, cases, and role-plays.
Stage 3: Post the Training
Commencing the training the delegates will receive an additional handout pack that allows them to reflect on their learning. Also, delegates will need to fill their Progress Passport in accordance to the competency covered during the training program.
One week after the program is concluded, we communicate with the Training Department a further tip and take-away from the program to be shares with the delegates

Going for Profit! A full Day Business Simulation Theme
Going for profit game is one of the most interactive game ever. Teams are based in historic Villeburg which does not have a pizza takeaway. Working in the same market as your competitors (the other teams) you’ll want to win as much of that market as you can.
Each team bid for one of four sites and then attempt to run their business over six ‘quarters’. First, they bid for one of the four available takeaways. They have differing appeal so they will need to know what customers they want to attract. They will decide on pricing, product quality, staffing, market research and advertising
Decisions come thick and fast on whether to have motorcycle delivery, whether to expand, to diversify and how to deal with the health scare. Threats arise (e.g. health inspections) and opportunities (e.g. should you invest in biked deliveries?) Great fun and lots to observe in how the teams reach decisions and deal with setbacks!
All decisions are computer-analyzed and results, in the form of a quarterly P&L account are produced. The most profitable takeaway at the end of a maximum of six ‘quarterly’ rounds of decisions wins.
Learning Objectives
- Highlights teamwork in action as teams strive to agree on how to run a small business
- Encourages simple P&L Analysis, forecasting and planning
- Shows the importance of a clear decision-making process
- Stresses the importance of customers and knowing who your target market is
- Illustrates the value of close analysis of figures in order to control costs
- To analyze basic business data
- Work as a management team
- To define their target market and satisfy its needs
- To analyze the competition – but not slavishly follow it
- To make logical business decisions
- The importance of advertising, pricing and margins and using the proper market mix
