Course Overview
The human resource strategy (HRS) aims to underpin the organization’s strategy and show how the different activities associated with managing people can enable the organization’s strategy to be delivered more effectively.
Goal of Course:
The workshop will address issues surrounding resourcing, development, performance management, reward, employee relations, and the efficiency of the HR function in delivering timely cost-effective services. A consequence of many HRS’ is that the HR function has to realign itself with the needs of the business.
The participants will examine those HR functions through an engaging set of activities that are designed to discuss the operational excellence and critical stages of HR development. This is done by using interactive learning environment tailored around up-to-date organizational development theories and its application.
All the cases and activities are based on authenticated and approved global researches and modules.

By the end of this workshop, the group will:
- Understand critical thinking application and its importance in the HR environment
- Understand the link between the HR strategy and the action needed to support the organizational objectives

Module 1: HR & Critical Thinking Process
Module Description: The participants will be introduced to the Critical thinking process in fun, engaging and mind intriguing activities, followed by application of knowledge and action plans.

Module 2: HR for the 21st Century
Module Description: During this module we will focus on group activities and will be using case study to enforce the learning. We will be using group learning method to maximize the benefit of all the key take-aways from this session. This session is based on research done by Dave Ulrich, Jon Younger, Wayne Brockbank and Mike Ulrich

Module 3: Fundamental module for operational excellence
Module Description: During this module we will introduce the operational excellence module in Organizational Development environment. We will be using departmental self-reflection assessment, case study, mind mapping, and group discussion. This session is based on researches in operational excellence and the HR application published by EUROPE AID, EFQM module for Excellence, Human Resource Management Theory 4th edition by John Barton and Jeffrey Gold published by Palgrave Macmillan and Liverpool University
