Goal of Course:

This interactive corporate social responsibility course may be used in full to provide a comprehensive review of Volunteerism and Social responsibility and its impact on organization and Community. The Session is designed to be highly interactive and participatory, using a combination of techniques, including case studies, role-plays, small group exercises, large group discussions, and individual reflection.

The corporate social responsibility course session modules increasingly focus on empowering trainees on embracing volunteering and social responsibility.

Corporate Reputation:

The first day of the corporate social responsibility training will start by an overview of corporate social responsibility, its definition, history, impacts and categories, then participants will discuss how implementing a CSR strategy will have an impact on the community, and while boosting the reputation of RTA.

Distinction and Success:

We will continue with group activities Exploring and Practicing a broad range of CSR practices, strategies and skills, covering characteristics of effective volunteers. It also introduces a model for understanding Micro-volunteering opportunities and advocacy opportunities in the city.

By the end of this section, groups will engage in a creativity workshop to come up with unique CSR activities to present in front of all the attendees.

Leadership and Team Work:

After presenting the CSR activities and ideas, attendees will form committees and take ownership to lead and implement these projects as volunteers, and put an action plan to execute it while showing their leadership and team work in the process.

Strategic Partnerships:

CSR Development in Dubai City (Customized), aims to inform trainees about the relationship between CSR and the law, highlighting the role of Dubai Government strategies and Initiatives, discussing CSR implementation by corporations in Dubai and main Drivers of CSR development such as social networking applications.

The design then turns to exploring strategic partnerships with international volunteering channels (Outside Dubai) and local (Inside Dubai).

Quality and Customer Service:

Value Creation is directly related to an improved customer service. CSR projects will be designed and implemented based on a CSR framework that questions the needs, objectives, benefits, challenges and opportunities. RTA customers will be looking at the company as a positive force in their lives.
